The old town, Royal Palace of La Almudaina, and the Passeig des Born promenade are all within comfortable walking distance of the pier. The island's interior villages, the Tramuntana mountain range (a UNESCO World Heritage landscape), and the famous caves of Drach make for excellent half-day excursions.
