Most Costa del Sol ports are a bus ride from anything worth seeing. Málaga is the exception — the ship ties up at Muelle Uno, and the old town starts where the gangway ends.

Málaga is one of the most walkable cruise ports in the western Mediterranean. A guided tour buys you context, not access — everything is reachable on foot.
Official taxis wait at the port gate and use meters. Most visitors never need one — the old town is walkable — but a taxi to the Gibralfaro castle saves the uphill climb. Confirm the fare is metered before setting off.
