Scotchies is the answer most cruisers land on — an open-air jerk pit a short drive east of town, chicken and pork smoked over pimento wood, served with festival and breadfruit. It's not on the pier, so you'll need a taxi or a tour that includes a stop, but it's the closest thing to a sure bet for the real thing.
